Ultrasound and Color Doppler
US (Ultrasound) is a medical imaging method that uses high-frequency sound waves to image organs, tissues and vessels in the body. It does not contain radiation, so it can be used safely in sensitive situations such as pregnancy.

Why Is Ultrasound Done?
Pregnancy monitoring: To assess the baby's development and health.
• Examination of intra-abdominal organs: To detect diseases in organs such as the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, and pancreas.
• Heart ultrasound (Echocardiography): To evaluate the condition of the heart valves and muscles.
• Thyroid and lymph nodes: To examine for abnormalities such as masses or enlargements.
• Musculoskeletal ultrasound: To see injuries to muscles, tendons and ligaments.
• Doppler ultrasound: To evaluate vascular occlusions and blood flow.
Since it is a painless, fast and safe method, it is widely used for diagnosis and follow-up purposes.
